Home » Bowling NewsWarriors Win at UT to End Regular SeasonFebruary 1, 2013 Sterling High SchoolThe SHS Bowling team closed out the regular season with a closely contested 2779-2747 win at United Township Thursday. The Golden Warriors rolled games of 914, 948, and 917.
Brandy Behrens had a solid 575 series with games of 181, 195, and 199. Destinee Howard bowled a 601 with games of 192, 189 and 220. Amber Granzow had a 554 with a 212 game. Magan Tintori came on strong with a 545 series, which included a 3rd game 200. Samantha Lewis finished with a 504.
The Golden Warriors end the regular season with a duel meet record of 11-2.
Next Up: The Golden Warriors compete at the IHSA United Township Sectional Saturday. SHS is trying to advance to state for the third consecutive season. The top two teams are guaranteed spots at next week’s state finals in Rockford.
