The SHS Boys’ Swimming and Diving team travelled to Byron Tuesday and recorded a closely contested 98-87 victory over the Tigers.
Highlights for the Warriors included a 1-2 finish from Cady Coursey (175.15) and Tanner Morse (161.25) in diving.
Sterling’s 200 free relay team of Casey Shook, Johnathon Downing, Brandon Pillars, and Andrew Blackburn swam to victory in 1:43.43.
SHS (5-3) received individual wins from Blake Ruiz (100 breast, 1:11.30) and Sam Wike (100 back, 1:04.21).
Next Up: The Golden Warriors compete at the Ottawa Pentathlon Saturday.
