The SHS Boys Swimming & Diving team split a triangular with Harlem and Woodstock-North Thursday in Machesney Park.  Woodstock North took top honors with 125 points, with the Golden Warriors in second place at 111, and Harlem third at 67.


Keaton Dir won both the 200 free (1:51.59) and 500 free (5:08.32) for SHS.  Keanu Interone was Sterling’s lone other individual winner, as he swam to victory in the 100 breast (1:00.00).


Dir and Interone teamed up with Sam Wike and Andy Blackburn to win the 200 medley (2:05.77) and 400 free (3:34.40) relays.


The Warriors are now 4-3 on the season.


On the JV level, SHS placed second again with 97 points, behind Woodstock-North (102), but ahead of Harlem (93).


Next Up: The Golden Warriors compete at the Rockford Jefferson Invite Saturday (1/12).
