Warriors Rout Rochelle

The SHS Bowling team improved to 4-1 in NIB-12 play by sweeping Rochelle 10-0 in Rochelle Tuesday.  The total pin fall count was SHS 3080, Rochelle 2390.

SHS Coach Dennis Black provides the individual rundown:  “Amber Granzow was excellent with games of 209, 212, 202 for a fine 623 series.  After her magnificent achievement Saturday (champion at UT Invite), was good to see her have absolute confidence in her stuff today.  Samantha Lewis finished the match with a 225 game and a 544 series.  Destinee Howard had a middle game of 221 and a series of 558.”

Next Up:  The Golden Warriors host Morris in a key conference match Thursday (12/13) at Blackhawk Lanes. “We must win out 10-0, or at least 8-2 to have a chance to repeat as conference champs,” said Black. “Our loss to Dixon in the first match was a killer.  We should, at the minimum, have split with them, but we did not, so now we must address the reality before us, and that reality is we must succeed against Morris.”
