The SHS Wrestling team placed third at the 35^th annual Carson DeJarnatt Sterling Invitational Saturday at Musgrove Fieldhouse.  Clinton (Ia.) won the team title with 204.5 points, followed by Rock Island (187.5), and the Golden Warriors (148.5).

Jaden Urrutia (106), Issac Anderson (113), Josh Villarreal (195), and Curtis Lilly (285) all claimed individual championships for SHS. Villarreal and Urrutia remain unbeaten on the season at 12-0, while Lilly improves to 11-1.

Sterling also received third place efforts from Austin Olalde (138) and Will Canales (220), and a fourth place finish from Bryant Lilly (170).

Next Up:  The Golden Warriors travel to Geneseo for a big NIB-12 West dual Thursday.
