Warriors Roll Past LP

Sterling High SchoolThe SHS Bowling team cruised past LaSalle-Peru in a NIB-12 dual Thursday at Blackhawk Lanes in Sterling. The Golden Warriors outscored LP for the match 3071-2758, claiming all 10 conference points.
Brandy Behrens led the Warriors with a 218 game and a 583 series. Amber Granzow bowled a 521 series. Destinee Howard and Samantha Lewis bowled a 511 series, with Lewis notching a 200 game. Sherilyn Winstead had a 483, and Magan Tintori a 463 series.
Through four conference matches, Sterling is now 3-1 and has claimed 28 of a possible 40 points.
Next Up: The Golden Warriors compete at the Rock Island Invitational Saturday (12/8), before heading to Rochelle for a NIB-12 match Tuesday.
