Speech Team Places 5th at DeKalb

On Saturday, December 1, the SHS Speech Team competed in the DeKalb Corn Classic hosted by DeKalb High School where they placed 5th out of 18 schools. The competition was tight and only 9 points separated 5th and 3rd place. 10 members placed in 10 events at both the Novice and Varsity levels. Some events had more than 50 competitors.
