In an extremely closely contested triangular, the SHS Boys’ Cross Country team finished behind Newman and Rock Falls in the annual Twin Cities Meet Tuesday at Centennial Park in Rock Falls.
Newman claimed top prize with 36 points, followed by Rock Falls with 40 and Sterling with 45. Keaton Dir was Sterling’s top finisher, in third place overall with a time of 16:41.
Next Up: The Golden Warriors travel to Geneseo Saturday for the Geneseo Invitational. Action begins at 9:00 a.m.
