Golden Warrior Scholastic Bowl Falls in Regional Semifinals

The SHS Scholastic Bowl team competed at the Rockford-Auburn Regional Monday, and ended up with one win and one loss. 

In the quarterfinals, Sterling knocked off Dixon 280-145 to move into a semifinal matchup with Rockford Boylan, where the Golden Warriors fell 260-185.  Boylan lost the regional championship match to perennial power Auburn 515-50.

Joshua Landis and Duncan Gingrich led Sterling with six tossups each for the two regional matches.  Sam Ripley was close behind with four.

Sterling ends the season with a final record of 40-19.
