South Oak Cliff High needs your presence!  We extend several opportunities to make this happen.  Parents should become active participates in Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Sign up of Parent Portal and become Volunteers!! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ( tutoring, media center, chaperones, parent center, data entry, clerical, and more) ARE AVAILABLE!

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Meetings:  Your child needs your presence in their schools.  PTSA provides, you, as a parent/guardian, with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of your child and the best tools to help him/her be safe, healthy and SUCCESSFUL-in school and in life!

Research has shown that children of involved parents do better in school and on standardized tests, have fewer behavior problems and are less likely to use drugs or alcohol!

PTSA is a strong advocate for the education and well-being for every child. It provides you with the opportunity to make a difference, here, at SOC High School, We value your input as parents/guardians! PTSA also provides opportunities to get to know school staff members and to learn more about how your school operates.

We look fwd to your time and commitment our students success! PTA Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6:30-7:30 pm!
