Dear Educator/ Community Partner/Parent,

We are so excited that you have taken interest in our Passport2College Program. DeVry University’s Passport2College Program is available to high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the fall of 2012 and want to take a college-level class in the upcoming summer at no cost.

Students may take one of the courses listed, which could provide them with college credits. Please review the information below and the attached documents for more information and access to the application. Applications are due in by June 12, 2012. INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY

This course provides a foundation for understanding, predicting and directing behavior. Organized within a framework encompassing foundations, general topics and applications, the course provides an understanding of how psychological principles and concepts relate to professional and personal life. Topics include learning, attitude formation, personality, social influence, dynamics of communication, conflict resolution, motivation, leadership, and group roles and processes.

Irving Campus: 3 credit hours. Monday - Thursday; 9:00AM - 12:00PM
