Carroll's Woes Continue

Alter hosted the Carroll Patriots on February 13th at the Nutter Center. The Knights jumped to a quick 14-10 after the first quarter and lead 30-21 at the half. Carroll trailed by as much as 18 at the start of the 4th quarter and couldn't recover. The Knights would go on to win 68-60. Dean Lemon had 14 points, Michael Schwieterman had 13 points, while Nate Burger added 16, and Keegan Saben put in 12 points. The Knights finish the regular season at 10-9 and finished 4th out of 8th in the GCL Co-ed. After starting off the season 2-7 and 0-4 in the league, The Knights finished off the season going 8-2 in the last six weeks. Carroll finishes 12-10, 2-8 in the league, and only won 2 games against teams with winning records, Fenwick and Springboro. The varsity win capped off a sweep over the Patriots.
The freshman team finished their season at 19-2 and cruised over Carroll with a 58-45 win. The Knights lead 30-8 at the half and at one point lead by 28 before Coach Sullivan put in subs to play the 4th quarter. The freshmen won the GCL Co-ed by going 10-0 in the league. The JV knocked off Carroll to take the GCL Co-ed League Title from them winning 61-44. Joey Laravie dropped 16 points and Dom Laravie added 12 points. The JV team finished off the season with a 10 game winning streak and with a record of 17-4.
