Alter GBB vs CJ

Alter went across town for the rematch with CJ on Feb. 6 on Senior Night for the Eagles.  The teams came out trading baskets with the score knotted 5-5 at 4:05 before CJ went on a 7-2 run to end the first quarter and hold a 12-7 lead after one.  Alter managed to pick up the pace in the second quarter and outscored CJ 16-12 but CJ held the 24-23 advantage at halftime.

CJ came out with intensity to start the third quarter going on a 5-0 run to start the quarter and outscored the Lady Knights 18-6 in the quarter to hold a 42-29 lead after three.  Both teams struggled early in the fourth quarter going scoreless for the first half of the quarter before CJ built a 45-35 lead at 2:47.  The Lady Knights weren't able to overcome the deficit and CJ won 52-38.

Contributing for Alter was Kara Bockrath with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Maddie Bazelak with 13 points and 7 rebounds. 

In JV action, CJ got redemption defeating the Lady Knights 38-30.  Leading the way for Alter was Milan Spencer with 17 points.  The JV team finished 14-4 on the season and 7-2 in GGCL play including 5-1 in the North Division.
