Alter GBB vs Marshall

Alter extended their win streak to 11 games with a win over Thurgood Marshall on Saturday. It was a physical battle early in the game with both teams battling with Alter jumping out to an early lead of 13-9 after one.  Offense picked up a bit in the second quarter with Alter extending their close lead to 29-22 to lead at halftime. 

The Cougars came out ready in the 2nd half and held the Knights scoreless in the third to go on a 15-0 run to take the 37-29 lead going into the fourth.  Alter regained their composure to go on their own 21-7 run to escape with the 50-44 victory.

Alter was led by Maddie Bazelak with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Kara Bockrath with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

In JV action, the Lady Knights ran their record to 12-2 with a hard fought 40-35 victory.  Allie Godfrey and Ashley Baer each had 11 points.
