EC BASEBALL PLAYERS PLAY IN ALL-STAR GAMES

Earlham College will have three baseball players competing in summer league all-star games this week.

Outfielder Nate Lynch will represent the Hamilton Joes in the Great Lakes League All-Star Game 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Gradys Field in Xenia, Ohio, while pitcher Nate Hube will represent the Cincinnati Stix and pitcher Howie Smith the Queen City Legends in Thursday’s Southern Ohio Valley Collegiate League.

The three join Matt Brankle, who represented the Richmond RiverRats in the Prospect League All-star game earlier this summer. John Cornett, a pitcher for Earlham, also plays for the Joes.
