RICHMOND, Ind. — A pair of former Earlham College athletes were honored on Friday by
the North Coast Athletic Conference.
Sarah Bohall and Chris Shaw were both named to the NCAC 30th Anniversary Outdoor
Track All-Decade Team (2003-2012). Bohall was selected for the 100-meter and
400-meter hurdles, while Shaw earned his spot in the discus.
Bohall was a four-time NCAC champion in the 400-meter hurdles from 2005-08. In 2008,
Bohall established and still holds the conference record of 1:02.64 and she was also
named the NCAC's Most Valuable Performer for Sprints/Hurdles. Later that year, she
finished fourth in the NCAA Div. III National Championship in the 400-meter hurdles
with a time of in 1:01.35. She was also a three-time NCAC champ in the 100-meter
hurdles in 2005, 2007-08.
Shaw won the NCAC title in the discus from 2007-09. He was named the NCAC Field MVP
in 2008 the same year that he was fifth in the NCAA Div. III National Championships
with a throw of 164'9". He still has the Earlham record in the discus with a 167'1"
