Women's Soccer

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College women's soccer coach Shane Meridith announced the team awards on Tuesday for the 2013 season.
Four players were recognized with Cherrah Barclay picking up two awards. Betty Alemu, Gia Casaburo and Micaela Bush were also honored.
Barclay was named the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player and received the Golden Boot award as the squad's top scorer. Barclay had seven goals this fall with three of them being game-winners.
Alemu, who started 14-of-16 matches this season with an assist to her credit, was named the Player's Player of the Year.
The Defensive MVP was Casaburo. Casaburo was an All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team selection for the Quakers.
A starter in every contest in her first-year, Bush was the team's Most Improved Player.

Field Hockey

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team's post-season honors were announced on Tuesday by Head Coach Heather Moore.
Natasha Jacobs, Diana Ainembabazi, Neo Khalema, Helen Titcomb and Emilia Asante each received awards.

Jacobs was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player as she scored four goals and had one assist this season.
Ainembabazi and Khalema shared the Midfield MVP award. Ainembabazi had an assist for the Quakers as she started 17-of-18 contests this fall. Khalema started every match and scored a goal, while assisting on three others.
Titcomb, who was on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Second Team, led the league in saves with 257. She was fifth in the NCAC in save percentage.
Asante was honored by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference as a member of the All-Sportsmanship Team.
