RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College had a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference All-Decade Team for field hockey that was announced on Monday.
Rebecca Aldred was selected for the NCAC 30th Anniversary Field Hockey All-Decade Team (2003-2012) as a midfielder.
In her career, Aldred was the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2001 and 2003. She was an All-NCAC First Team choice three times (2001-03) and earned honorable mention in 2000.
Aldred scored 28 goals during her four years and she still holds Earlham's all-time assist mark with 18. As a senior in 2003, she had 10 goals and 10 assists.
Men's Cross Country
RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College has three Runners to Watch as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its pre-season men's cross country poll on Monday.
Simon Conrad, Gabriel Perk and Paul Maxson were each on the list for the Quakers, who were picked to finish 8th in the poll.
Manchester University was at the top of the poll, while the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was second and Franklin College was third.
The Quakers starts the season on Saturday at the Franklin College Invitational.
Women's Cross Country
RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's cross country squad had a trio of competitors on the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Runners to Watch list on Monday as the pre-season poll was announced.
On the list for the Quakers were Emma Jenkins-Sullivan, Maddie Fega and Emmy Zimmerman.
Manchester University led the poll and Hanover College was second. Franklin College was third, while Earlham was seventh.
Earlham begins the season on Saturday at the Franklin College Invitational.
