EC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL AWARDS

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College women's basketball coach Melissa Johnson announced
the awards for the 2012-13 season on Monday. 

Kasin Spay led the way with a pair of awards, while Emily Sells, JaLissa Watt, Kiara
Scott and Jazmynne Cunningham were all honored. 

Spay was selected as the team's Most Valuable Offensive Player and she received the
Coach's Award. She started all 25 games for the Quakers this season and averaged
10.8 PPG, while a season high 22 points in a 77-69 win over the College of Mount St.
Joseph. 

Sells and Watt shared the Most Valuable Defensive Player award. Sells started all 25
contests and was second on the squad with 32 steals. She finished with a 5.7 scoring
average. 

Watt played in every game for the Quakers and she led the team with 62 steals, while
scoring 8.3 PPG and grabbing 4.4 rebounds per contest. 

Scott was the Most Improved Player and Cunningham was named the Unsung Hero. Scott
played in 20 games this winter and scored 4.1 PPG. Cunningham had 12 starts and she
played in 25 games.
