QUAKERS BASEBALL MAKES CHANGE

Earlham College Broadcast Sports

RICHMOND, Ind. — The home opener for the Earlham College baseball team has been moved to Florence, Kentucky.
Still scheduled for March 9, the Quakers will now entertain Johnson University at the home of the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League. The first contest of the doubleheader at UC Health Stadium gets underway at 1 p.m.
The Quakers have a connection to the Freedom as Adam Painter pitched for the organization the summer following his graduation from Earlham in 2011.
Now, the first contest of the season for the Quakers at McBride Stadium is part of a three-game Heartand Collegiate Athletic Conference series with Transylvania University.
Earlham plays the Pioneers in a 9-inning single game on Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m. The following day the two squads meet for a twinbill beginning at noon.
