RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's basketball team had three players receive recognition from the Heartand Collegiate Athletic Conference on Wednesday as the post-season awards were announced.
Bria Sneed and JaLissa Watt were on the All-HCAC Honorable Mention list, while Charvonne Long was named to the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team.
Sneed led the Quakers in scoring average this season at 12.9 PPG and had 4.1 rebounds per game in 14 contests before her season ended with an injury. Her top performance was a 26-point outing against the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Watt reached double figures in 10 contests this season for the Quakers and was third on the team in scoring at 8.8 PPG. Watt also had 4.4 rebounds per contest. She scored 18 points twice this season for her best efforts against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and at Transylvania University. She led the Quakers with 2.6 steals per game.
Long finished her career as the third best rebounder on the squad with 4.5 per game. She averaged 4.4 PPG and had a season-high 11 points against Bluffton University.
