LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Earlham College women's basketball team had a pair of players
in double figures on Wednesday night as the Quakers fell 73-57 at Transylvania
University.

JaLissa Watt led the Quakers with 18 points and five steals in the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference affair.

Kiara Scott finished with 11 points.

Raven Bryant-Williams topped the Quakers with six rebounds, while Emily Sells added
three assists.

The contest was tied early after Watt scored to make it 10-10 with 12:55 remaining
in the opening stanza.

The Pioneers (16-4, 12-1) went on a 9-0 run to go on top 19-10 at the 10:34 mark.

By intermission, Transylvania had a 38-25 advantage.

In the second half, Watt scored with 5:19 left to play to cut the Earlham deficit to
60-50, but that was as close as the Quakers could get.

Earlham (3-17, 2-11) is back in action on Saturday at home against Hanover College.
The HCAC contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center gets
underway at 1 p.m.
