Women's Track
RICHMOND, Ind. — There were four members of the Earlham College women's indoor track
team named on the Athletes to Watch list as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference pre-season poll was released Wednesday.

Kate Birdsall, Emma Hauser, Olivia Thornburg and Zoe Wolfe were all on the list.

Earlham was picked to finish ninth in the HCAC.

Hanover College had nine first-place votes to take the top position in the poll. The
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology received the other first-place vote and was
second. Franklin College was third.

The Quakers open the indoor season in the Defiance College Invitational on Jan. 26.
The event starts at 11 a.m.

Men's Track
RICHMOND, Ind. — Three members of the Earlham College men's indoor track team were
selected for a spot on the Athletes to Watch list as the Heartland Collegiate
Athletic Conference pre-season poll was announced on Wednesday.

Zander Ansara, Robert Awkward and Marq Dixon were each on the list.

The Quakers were picked seventh in the conference poll.

The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was a unanimous selection for the top
position in the poll. Defiance College was second, while Manchester University was
third.

Earlham begins the indoor season at the Defiance Invitational on Jan. 26. The meet
gets underway at 11 a.m.
