EC MEN LOSE CONFERENCE OPENER

CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Earlham College men's basketball team started its Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule on Saturday as the Quakers were defeated by
the College of Mount St. Joseph 87-71.
Jack O'Flaherty led the Quakers with 21 points, while Kristian Barden finished with
a double-double as he totaled 12 points, 12 rebounds and a team-high five assists.
Dustin Rusk tossed in 11 points with six rebounds. Marty Broderick contributed eight
