Earlham College Broadcast SportsMARIETTA, Ohio — The Earlham College women's basketball team finished the 28th
annual Marietta Jim Meagle Turkey Shoot on Sunday as Muskingum University defeated
the Quakers 64-45.
Natasha Norman topped the Quakers with 10 points against the Fighting Muskies (3-1).
Kasin Spay, who was selected to the all-tournament team, added nine points and
grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
Danielle Altman contributed seven points. Emily Sells had five assists.
Earlham fell behind early in the contest 11-2 before the Quakers started the road
back.
JaLissa Watt cut the deficit to 16-10 when she scored at the 7:44 mark of the
opening period.
By halftime, Muskingum led 30-17. The Fighting Muskies were able to maintain their
margin in the second half.
The Quakers (1-4) face Wittenberg University on Wednesday for their home opener. The
non-conference affair on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center begins
at 8 p.m.
