All 9 starters had a hit tonight, and that puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team when you get runners on every inning." said Comet Coach Darren Hill." " Our defense continued to play pretty solid as well. New London bunted 5 or 6 times and we got them all out at first but 1, and our infielders did not commit an error. We had a couple of singles that were bobbled in the outfield which give them an extra base, which we need to correct, but overall I am extremely happy with the kids efforts tonight." Cardinal is back in action, Wednesday night in non conference action at Davis County.
