COMET SOFTBALL TEAM ADVANCES TO REGIONAL FINAL

The Comet Softball Team is 3 for 3 in post season and has advanced to the regional final. Cardinal defeated Pekin 8-7 in the first round after trailing 6-2 late in the game. Next they outlasted Eddyville-Blakesburg for an exciting 8 inning victory 9-5. In round three they handled Danville with an 11-0 win in five innings.

Now they will face Wayne of Corydon in Centerville Monday at 7:00pm. The winner will represent Region 5 in the state tournament at Fort Dodge beginning July 16th.
