South Picks Up County Win

A jammed packed gym saw a very competitive contest Friday night between Terre Haute South and West Vigo.  South saw a 12 point lead evaporate in the 3rd quarter and trailed in the 4th quarter by 4 points.  Fortunately for the Braves, South was able to get crucial stops.  South also held the ball for the last 2 minutes before Jeffrey Turner drained a 3 point basket with 3 seconds left.  Turner's shot pushed the Braves to a 49-46 county win.
Turner finished the contest with 28 points on 11-18 shooting.

South returns to action Tuesday at Arlington.
