Braves Take Sectionals

It was quite a day for the South Braves at Rolling Meadows.  South took the Sectional by shooting a 290, good enough to beat county rival Terre Haute North by 9 strokes.  Linton was third, shooting a 317.  The top 3 teams advance to the Washington Regional, which will be Thursday.
Leading the way for South were Cory and Eric Gertz.  Both twins shot 71 in their final Sectional match.  Thomas Goss of South and Grant Lewellyn of North were 1 shot behind, carding a72.
