THS Splits with THN in Basketball

The Terre Haute South Boys and Girls Basketball team split a pair of contests Friday night at the Hulman Center.  In the boys game, THS fell 50-39.  THS led midway through the 4th quarter, but could not hold on.  THS was led by Timmy Herrin who had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
In the girls game, THS rallied from a double digit 2nd half deficit to win 60-56 in OT.  Labrea Joyner and Tasia Brewer had 19 points to lead the way.  THS only had 4 turnovers.
The girls team plays Tuesday at home against West Vigo, while the boys team travels to Ben Davis Friday.
