Thursday Roundup

Terre Haute South picked up a 7-3 win Thursday night in softball over visiting North Central (Sullivan).  McKenzie Mcgregor had 2 hits and 4rbis to lead THS.  Lexi Higgins also added 2 hits and a rbi, while Kelsey Marlow added 2 hits.  Cheyenne Reinig scattered 7 hits in the complete game win.
The Lady Braves are now 13-4 on the season and play North Central and Ben Davis Saturday at Terre Haute North.

Terre Haute South also picked up a 14-0 win at Riverton Parke.  Colton Rupska had a grand slam, while Damon Olds, Timmy Herrin, Pete Lannoo and Matt Townsend all combined for a 5 inning no hitter.
South is now 9-6 and will host Carmel in a MIC doubleheader today at 5:45.

Terre Haute South also picked up a 5-0 win over West Vigo in Girls Tennis action.  Nicole Howe won at number 1 singles 6-0, 6-0.  Other winners include Shivani Purohit at number 2 gingles, Vannessa Lauby at number 3 singles, and the doubles team of Miranda Camp and Madison Manning, as well as the doubles team of Tabitha Fagg and Jordan Davis.
THS plays Monday against Floyd Central at Bloomington South.
