The Lady Arabians held the 7th annual Horseshoe Classic Saturday and came up 1 run short of defending the championship. The morning game matched up the Lady Arabians against Dekalb Barons. Arabians win contest 10-4 with Alssya Hatcoat, Sierra Lewis , and Delilah Wright all with 3 hits a piece. Bailey Bennefiel gets the win with 11 strike outs. Next up is South Bend Adams for the Arabians. Arabians win 11-1. Heather Wendling, Jordan Dean and Kinzie Davis with 2 hits a each. Bailey Bennefiel gets the win with 11 strikeouts. The champioship game match PHHS against Number 1 rank Lake Central Indians. Bottom of the 7th Arabians down 5 rally to tie game to send game into international tie breaker. Lake Central score 2 in the top of 8th while the Arabians only push 1 run across to lose 10-9. Kinzie Davis, Delilah Wright, and Kelsey Hubble all had 2 RBI's in the game. Next up Conference foe Shelbyville Monday at 5:30 away.
