St. Louis Area Top Senior Baseball Prospects

D.J. Mueller (Affton) - Led the Cougars last season with a .452 batting average in which he drove in 12 runs and stole seven bases.
Ryan Smith (Affton) Another solid hitter in the Cougars lineup as the infielder hit .451 with 16 RBI and a team leading three home runs.
Jake Campbell (Barat Academy) Led the Eagles last season with a .526 batting average that included 25 RBI. Was also 4-2 on the mound last season with a 1.37 ERA and 37 strikeouts.
Joe Sedlock (Barat Academy) The Eagles starting catcher batted .450 with 15 RBI and 21 stolen bases.
Ryan Marshall (Brentwood) Batted .569 with four doubles, two triples and two home runs.
Ryan Jones (Brentwood) Was outstanding on the mound last season with a 7-0 record and a 1.80 ERA. Also batted .391 with five doubles and 20 RBI.
Darin Pitts II (Cardinal Ritter) Carried a .568 batting average with three triples and 19 RBI.
David Schmidt (CBC) Went 4-0 last season on the mound with a solid 1.22 ERA. Also batted .391 with 27 RBI and a total of 34 runs scored.
Parker Stewart (CBC) Held down a solid .488 batting average with three home runs and 15 RBI.
Luke Bumgarner (Chaminade) Top returning pitching prospect for the Red Devils after going 4-1 last season with a 0.24 ERA.
Logan Jett (Crystal City) Was undefeated last season with a 4-0 record overall and a 2.57 ERA. Averaged 6.77 strikeouts per game during last year's state championship run.
Wade Rothermich (Fort Zumwalt North) Was the Panthers top threat on the mound last season with an 8-0 record and a stout 1.64 ERA. Averaged 7.64 strikeouts per game and held opponents to a .234 batting average.
Brett Graves (Francis Howell) Led the Vikings this past fall to the Missouri Class 6 football semifinals as the school's quarterback, but is going to Mizzou next fall on a baseball scholarship. Hit .477 with 26 RBI and was 4-1 on the mound with a 1.76 ERA.
Jake Ivory (Francis Howell) Racked up 42 RBI while also carrying a solid .439 batting average. Had four triples as well as two home runs.
Gabe Mahn (Grandview) Hit .397 with 21 RBI as well as two home runs.
Trevor Jones (Hazelwood West) - Hit .448 last season with five doubles, two triples, two home runs and 19 RBI. Was also one of the top base stealing threats last season with a total of 23 swipes.
Nolan Fisher (Holt) - Went 6-1 last season with a 2.52 ERA and averaged 5.21 strikeouts per game.
Robert Wright (John Burroughs) - Batted .480 with three doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 33 RBI.
Patrick Lyons (Lafayette) - Carried a .417 batting average with 11 doubles, 10 stolen bases, one home run and 10 RBI.
Mike Brown (Lindbergh) - A second team all-metro selection with a .529 batting average last season. Drove in 26 runs and scored a total of 19 runs during the 2010 campaign.
Logan Parsons (Lindbergh) - Batted .413 with seven doubles, three triples and 21 RBI. On the mound Parsons was 4-0 overall but struggled with a 7.36 ERA.
Will Spitzfaden (Lindbergh) - Solid pitcher/outfielder who went 5-4 on the mound last season but held down a 1.98 ERA. At the plate Spitzfaden he batted .423 with seven doubles, one triple and 22 RBI.
Tyler Branneky (Lutheran North) - Was 5-3 on the mound last year with a 3.34 ERA.
Nick Schaper (Lutheran South) - Went 5-1 overall with a 1.91 ERA and 49 strikeouts.
Gary Russo (MICDS) - Batted .446 with five doubles, two triples, one home run and 15 RBI.
Harrison Ivie (MICDS) - Carried a .433 batting average with a team leading 23 RBI.
Jacob Jett (Cleveland NJROTC) - Stout at the plate last season with a .571 batting average and 18 RBI.
Danny Boyer (Northwest) - Hit .412 last season with a team leading nine doubles, one triple and one home run as well as 11 RBI.
Tim Chambliss (Oakville) - Batted .351 at the plate last season with one double, two triples and one home run as well as 23 RBI.
Chad Gendron (Oakville) - Went 6-3 overall last year with a 2.50 ERA. Averaged 6.81 strikeouts per game during the 2010 campaign.
Ryan Simmons (Oakville) - Solid hitting infielder who hit .388 with nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 21 RBI as well as 10 stolen bases.
Zack Jones (Orchard Farm) - Hit .442 last season with seven doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 39 RBI. Scored 31 runs and stole a total of 10 bases during the 2010 campaign.
Daniel Kuehler (Orchard Farm) - Went 7-0 last season with a 3.45 ERA in 48.7 innings pitched and retired 39 via strikeout.
Justin Weber (Orchard Farm) - Solid first baseman that hit .418 with four doubles, four home runs and drove in 17 runs.
Austin Mathis (Pacific) - Right fielder that hit .410 with three doubles, one triple and 22 RBI.
Danny Holst (Parkway South) - Held down a .488 batting average with 10 doubles, three triples, 16 RBI and 21 stolen bases.
Arsalaan Alvi (Pattonville) - Centerfielder that hits for average with a .470 mark and 17 RBI.
Gavin Thomas (Principia) - Hard hitting player that batted .447 and led the Panthers with six doubles, four home runs and 15 RBI.
Alex Yates (Ritenour) - Hit .452 last season with 11 doubles and 21 RBI.
Alek Ferbet (Seckman) - Solid first baseman that hit .425 with seven doubles, one home run and 20 RBI as a junior.
Jacob Peppers (Seckman) - Third baseman that carried a .418 batting average with five doubles, one home run and 13 RBI last season.
Sasha Kuebel (Saint Louis University High) A second team all-metro pick last season that was 7-2 on the mound with a 2.00 ERA. Retired 67 batters via strikeout in just 56 innings pitched.
Matt Mitchell (St. Charles) - Hit .435 with three doubles, one home run and 17 RBI.
Juan Bowers (Trinity) - Carried a .456 batting average with 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 17 RBI.
Tyler Thompson (Union) - Went 5-2 last season with a 3.65 ERA and 34 strikeouts.
Justin Zimmerman (Union) - Well rounded shortstop that batted .506 as a junior with eight doubles, four triples and 20 RBI.
Kale Mavropoulos (University City) - Second team all-metro selection after batting .429 with nine home runs, 42 RBI and a total of 25 runs scored.
Patrick Shumway (Valley Park) - Hit a team leading .410 batting average with four doubles, two triples, two home runs and 26 RBI.
Tim Dreyer (Vianney) - Second baseman that hit .447 with six doubles and 14 RBI as a junior.
Ryan Barnes (Vianney) - Hard hitting catcher that carried a .433 batting average with 10 doubles, two home runs and 25 RBI.
Ryan Allee (Westminster) - The Wildcats starting catcher hit .480 last season as a junior with nine doubles, three triples, one home run and 29 RBI.
Alex Brown (Whitfield) - Hit .438 with five doubles, one triple, three home runs and 33 RBI.
Trevor Ullman (Whitfield) - Was 5-1 on the mound last season with a 4.40 and 28 strikeouts.
