Home » Basketball NewsThe Kennesaw Fury finds a 'Diamond' in the RoughDecember 6, 2012 Georgia FuryPowder Springs, GA - Innovative Mind Group (IMG), owners of the Kennesaw Fury, has obtained its first spirit team to bridge with its travel exposure team. The Blue Diamonds, directed by Randa Wilburn, will be the voice and spirit of the Kennesaw Fury in its games as well as Fury Ambassadors. Not only will the Blue Diamonds cheer, but they are also the force of the fundraising and volunteerism for the Fury, bringing community service to the organization. The Blue Diamonds first community project is on December 19 at the Powder Springs Senior Center where they will serve food to the seniors and do a cheer routine for the residents. Coach Wilburn, along with new Head Coach Clark Brown III, has already set up the tutoring program for both the Diamonds and Fury to participate in, free of charge. Tutoring is every Monday from 4:30PM to 6:30PM at Ron Anderson Recreation Center in Powder Springs. The Blue Diamonds continue to develop their swagger and style as they prepare for the 2013 inaugural season. They will do three events before going to the first tournament with the Kennesaw Fury in Jacksonville on March 29.
