Ron Case Named AD of the Year for 2012-13

Gloucester County College Director of Athletics, Ron Case has been named the 2012-2013 Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year for two-year colleges. This award will be presented at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics James J. Corbett Awards Luncheon held in Orlando, Florida on June 15, 2013.  Case also received NACDA’s Athletic Director of the Year Award in 2002-03 and 2005-06, and 2008-09 making him the only four time winner in the 15 year history of the program.

 

During his 22 year tenure at Gloucester County College, Case has seen the Roadrunners win 25 NJCAA Division III National Championships, finish in the top three places 60 times in NJCAA Championship Events, win eleven CAANJ Cups for having the best overall two-year college athletic program in the state of New Jersey and win the NATYCAA Cup for Overall Program Excellence nationally the past four years. GCC also won the 2012-13 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup for national overall program excellence during the past year.

 

Ron was inducted into the Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame in 2009 year and has also received NATYCAA’s highest award, the L. William Miller Award (2002), the Collegiate Athletic Administrators of New Jersey (CAANJ) Garden State Award (2007) and Gloucester County College’s Medallion Award for Service to the College and Community (2007).
