Garrett Falls to Eastside 46-22

The Garrett Railroader Football team was defeated by the Eastside Blazers 46-22 Friday Night. Garrett led early on in the 1st Quarter 6-0 on a 3 yard plunge by Bryit Sumner. The touchdown was setup by Dustin Underwood's 51 yard interception return to the Blazer 10 yard line. Eastside answered with a scoring drive of their own to make it 7-6 and scored again to take a 14-6 lead into the 2nd Quarter. The Railroaders opened the 2nd Quarter with an impressive 70 yard touchdown drive capped off by another Bryit Sumner touchdown making 14-14 with 8 minutes remaining in the 2nd Quarter. Sumner finished with 144 yards on 31 carries and 2 touchdowns.
Eastside led 21-14 going into the halftime. The Railroaders opened the 2nd half with another scoring drive capped off by a 1 yard run by Noah Follett and then converted on the 2 point conversion to take a 22-21 lead with just under 8 minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter. Eastside would then rattle off 25 unanswered points to finish the game.
Garrett rushed for 265 yards on 52 carries and passed for another 37 yards for a total of 302 yards of offense. Bo Davis had 74 yards on 10 carries and Noah Follett had 37 yards on 7 carries with a touchdown. In the passing game Follett was 3 of 7 for 37 yards.
