boys HS soccer vs. Eastside

The Garrett boys soccer team defeated Eastside 4-1 Tuesday, September 18.  The Garrett boys scored twice in each half to secure the victory on Senior night.  Dayton Sweet scored both goals in the first half to give Garrett the lead 2-0.  Karsten Cooper assisted both goals the second Sweet goal was also assisted by Andrew Bishop.  With Garrett up 2-0, Eastside scored with only 10 seconds to go in the half to narrow the Garrett lead to 2-1 at half. 

About 10 minutes into the second half, Andrew Rodriguez put Garrett up 3-1 when he scored on a pass from Dayton Sweet.  Karsten Cooper finished the scoring for Garrett when he scored on an assist from Kele Jennings. 

Kele Jennings made 5 saves in goal and Sam Waterhouse made 2 saves in goal.

Seniors Kele Jennings, Trent Leverenz, Austin Pinckney, Andrew Rodriguez, Charlie Waterhouse, and Logan Weyrick were recognized at half-time for their contributions and efforts during the last 4 years.
