The Garrett boys soccer team traveled to Prairie Heights Monday, September 17. The Railroaders pulled out a hard fought victory 2-0 defeating the Panthers for their fourth win on the season. Karsten Cooper scored on an assist from Dayton Sweet just 3 minutes into the game to give Garrett the quick lead. The two teams battled until just 7 minutes remained when Cooper scored his second goal assisted by Reiley Pugh to give Garrett the 2-0 lead at half.
The second half saw many chances for Garrett to score again, but the half ended up scoreless making the final 2-0. Kele Jennings made 9 saves in goal for Garrett earning him a shut-out.
