Contest time!

It is indeed that time again! Contests for the FFA year are right around the corner, and we need YOU, the FFA members to participate! We have several team event still open, and need more people to fill in the open spots. What's available: Livestock judging, dairy judging, Tractor pull team, small engines team, ag mechanics team, welding team, tractor driving, as well as Greenhouse Impromptu. These events will be scattered throughout the rest of the school year, but are coming up fast!

We have also set the date for the awards banquet at years' end. The date is May 7th, 2013 at the Garrard County Extension Office. More details will follow.

Also on the horizon, Greenhand and Chapter degree ceremonies will be held seperately from the banquet, and will be scheduled for sometime in April, more information to follow later.

The Garrard County FFA is also seeking sponsorship to help fund our numerous activities. We especially need funding for the Tractor Pulling team, STEAM team, and Floral Design Team.
