2011 New Haven Classic

The 2011 Eagles ran well at IPFW Plex soccer facilities and the home to the IHSAA Semi-State.  They familiarized themselves to the new course real fast and are showing no signs of letting up for the next time they run here!: ) Tyler Herber again led the Eagles with a nice 4th place time of 16:11, he is showing that he is a definite front runner!  Keigan Culler ran with some purpose and showed signs of getting ready for the Conference meet next Saturday.  Keigan finished 5th in 16:22.  Alex Beams and Tanner Wall ran phenominal as well with 20th & 23rd place and some great times of 17:18 & 17:24!  Sam Stukey rounded out our top 5 in 134th and a time of 20:06.  Jeremy Easterday, Spencer Stukey, Devin Smith ran well with 140th(20:39), 160th(21:40) and 163rd(21:54)!  The boys ran well enough to get 4th place in there division with 153pts. and 4 top 25 runners, that meant more hardware for them!

The Lady Eagles finished 10th with 221 pts. and put 3 ladies in the top 25.  Abby Hostetler brought it out "fast" in the first 1600m. as she brought Ericka Rinehart from Angola with her.  Abby ended up in 3rd place with another fantastic time of 18:43 as Samantha Roush of Coumbia City caught her in the final 1000m. of the race.  Anna Aldrich also got out real well and put herself in a great race situation, as she finished 5th in 19:22!  Anna will be ready when the tournament begins to regain and "earn" her position back to the State Meet.  Big Mak (Makenna Cade) continues to show that she is ready to stay focused on becoming a great runner and not just being "OK"Big Mak was 21st as she passed 4 girls in the final 300m. and run a PR of 20:35!  Lorin Reidenbach and Brandi Cessna ran 131st (24:42) & 138th(25:38) to round out our top 5! 

The Eagles run this Saturday(10am) the 10/1/11 @ West Noble High School in the NECC championship meet.  The Guys and Gals will be ready to bring there training to the next level this week to prepare for this meet!!!!  Good Job Eagles and continue wearing that block  F  proud!!!!!
