Eagle Girls 4th at NECC Tourney

The Lady Eagle Tennis Team took 4th place at the NECC tournament held at Lakeland. Caitlynn Smith finished in third place after winning her last match 4-6, 6-1, 6-0. Kylee Renfrew lost her third place match 6-2, 6-0 to Westview, giving her a 4th place finish. Rebecca Noyes played extremely well throughout the whole tournament to come out on top over Angola and give her the championship title. She won a very close and tiring first place match 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Lexi Skeen and Jenna Garrison finished 8th after losing their battle for seventh 9-8 (7-2). The two doubles team of Laura Dennis and Saige Driver also finished 8th after losing their last match 8-3. The Lady Eagles will play Angola during sectionals at Dekalb on Wednesday night.
