Fremont edges Angola with the 5th man score needed

May 12, 2014
By Mike Kasperski of Fremont High School

Angola hosted a dual match with the Fremont boys golf team at Glendaring. Couldn't ask for better weather. Brody Dunn lead the way shooting a 42 adding a long birdie putt to contribute to that. Justin Papenbrock came in last, needed his 43 to set a tie on the 4 man score. Collin Sherburne and Seth Wirick finish solid shooting a 44. Using his 48 because of the back up system Cooper Wall came through cluthch.

Both teams shooting a 173, using the back up system taking the 5th man score Fremont edged Angola by 1 stroke. It was a fun exciting match to be apart of.

The NECC record moves to 8-2
