J.V. Football falls to Prairie Heights

September 4, 2013
By Kagan Gentry of Fremont High School

Tuesday night our Eagle J.V. football team traveled the back roads of Lagrange and Steuben County to play the Prairie Heights Panthers.  Our young Eagle team was hoping to improve to 2-0 but Heights proved to be a little better.  Despite a valiant receiving effort by Braxton Baker who had 125 receiving yards and a touchdown, the Eagles made a few too many mistakes.  The good news is the Eagles will have a second chance to redeem themselves in a few weeks this time taking on the Panthers at home.  After a few things get cleaned up we should be pecking at the bit to show those panthers what we are made of.
