Home » Wrestling NewsFremont wrestlers 4-1 at Edgerton InviteDecember 15, 2012 By Eric Bryan of Fremont High SchoolEdgerton Invitational (@ Edgerton, Ohio) Round 1 Fremont – 44 Round 2 Fremont – 70 Round 3 Fremont – 33 Round 4 Fremont – 54 Round 5 Fremont – 57 106 – Kyle Lowe (4-1) The Fremont wrestling team went 4-1 at the Edgerton Invitational, suffering their first loss of the season to Sandusky High School of Toledo, Ohio and improved their overall record to 16-1. Sandusky was a new team added to the invitational this year and I knew that they were going to be tough competitors. Unfortunately, we were without our 113 pounder and I believe if we were at full strength our day could have ended a little different. The boys bounced back from the third round loss and were able to finish the day strong by collecting another two wins as a team. Leskowyak, Frye, Short, and Elliott all wrestled well today and did a great job collecting six points when the opportunity presented itself. Overall, I’m happy with the level of performance, but we definitely have some work to do in the room in order to prepare for Reading and Springport next Wednesday.
