Practice Makes Perfect

September 14, 2012
By Macey Lee of Fremont High School

The FHS Cheerleading squad has started the season with a few mistakes, but nothing that can't be fixed. The girls have spent the last few weeks preparing for the Homecoming Pep-Rally. The girls will be performing a nearly 5 min. routine for the Faculty and Students on Friday. And the weeks after will be just as busy as we plan to compete in the Indiana Cheer Championship in October. The girls have worked really hard this season, but still room for improvement, and plenty of time with basketball season around the corner.

We also will be continuing the Quilt Raffle Friday night (homecoming). The tickets are 1 for $1.00 and 7 for $5.00. The quilt will be raffled off after the Homecoming Queen is crowned.

The next two home games, the cheerleaders will also be selling cookies to help raise money for our competition. Any help we have is greatly appreciated.
