Eagle Tennis Wins Third Match of Week

   The Eagle tennis team defeated Lakeland 4-1 Thursday night to raise their record to 9-4 and 5-2 in the conference.  Lakeland was improved from early in the season but the Eagles were ready.  Straight set wins were recorded by #1 singles Tyler Jenkins, #2 singles Brandon Miller, #3 singles Logan Miller and the #1 doubles team of Glen McClain/Tanner Frye.  #2 doubles team of Mason Kolberg/Ketih Bookwalter lost in 3 sets.  The junior varsity defeated Lakeland 5-0.  Winning for the Eagles in singles were Mitchel Long, Jeremy Siler, Brandan Arnos and Derek Fisher and in doubles Drew Sullivan/Kyle Boekout.  The JV is now 8-2 on the season and 5-2 in the conference.  The varsity travels to Knox for the Knox Invitational on Saturday and the Junior Varsity hosts their own Invitational.
