2012 Prairie Heights Invitational

With Prairie Heights being a true XC course the Fremont Eagles all ran well!  The Boys were 7th of 8 scoring teams(12 total) with 178 points.  They are starting  to show some intensity and attitude! Alex Beams was the lone medalist at 8th place in 17:19, David Schmucker 31st(18:49), Keagan Connelly 44th(19:40), Sam Stukey 52nd(20:40), Sean Sheckles 56th(21:31), Hunter Price 64th(22:50) and Spencer Stukey 68th(23:57.  Devin Smith sat due to Nagging Hamstring!   Bishop Dwenger boys won with 39 points and Ryan Smith of Central Noble was Medalist in 15:55!  Keep bringing it guys!

The lady Eagles had a bittersweet day, as they tied the West Noble lady Chargers with 54 points, and losing on the 6th runner tie breaker!  Anna Aldrich broke her own teammates Course record (Abby Hostetler 19:43 2011) with another fantastic time of 18:46!  Her teammate Abby Hostetler was 2nd in 19:23, also breaking her own record.  Katie Culler was 8th in 21:05, Brandi Cessna 18th (23:16), Alex Friend 33rd (25:28), Lexi Bowen 43rd (28:28) and Makenna Cade started but did not finish.  Alexis Buck ran well to finish 2nd in the JV race at 23:28!  We are running on heavy legs, October is around the bend, Fresh legs await us!  Valiant Effort from all the EAGLES, but, we will be ready when it counts!

Eagles race next at Albion Invitational(Albion MI.) at Victory Park this Wednesday 8/29/12 at 5:15pm with the BOYS racing 1st.  GO EAGLES!!!
