Eagle Tennis Rocks in 4-1 Win Over 5A Northrup

 The Fremont Eagle Tennis team won 4 matches in straight sets to win their second match in two nights on Tuesday on their home court.  #2 Singles player Glen McClain used superior athleticsm and smart shot making to win 6-1, 6-1.  Human Backboard #3 Singles Player Logan Miller then came off the court after a 6-0, 6-0 win to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.  #1 Doubles team of Brandon Miller/Tanner Frye were next off losing their first match of the season 6-1, 6-3 but the #2 doubles team of Mason Kolberg/Drew Sullivan put together their best match of the season winning 6-1, 6-3 and clinching the team win.  #1 Singles player Tyler Jenkins finshed the win with an impressive 6-3, 7-5 win over a good #1 from Northrup.  The junior varsity raised there record to 2-0 with a 2-1 win.  The winners for the Eagles were Mitchel Long and Brandon Arnos.  Both teams are back in action Thursday as they travel to Bethany Christian to battle the always tough Braves.
