Home » Baseball NewsOld Problems Return in LossMay 17, 2012 By Justin Bock of Fremont High SchoolFremont 9, Prairie Heights 11 Senior Night fell apart as the Eagles walked too many (7) and committed too many errors (6). The offense provided enough pop, including two homeruns for Glen McClain (6 and 7) and a homerun by Brock Baker (3). However, a wild sixth inning in which the Eagles allowed five runs while making three errors. Tanner Wall was the only other Eagle with two hits. Fremont has one more regular season game (at Lakewood Park on Monday) before the postseason tournament. Very quickly before Senior Night is officially over, I would like to say what an honor it has been coaching Andrew Smith, Matt Hoff, and Tanner Wall. These are three great individuals who have made my first four years as the varsity coach so rewarding. We are experiencing some frustrating inconsistencies right now, but that doesn't diminish how much these guys mean to me. It has been an honor to see them grow up from freshmen into men.
