Girls track 3rd at Westview Invite

The Lady Eagles finished in 3rd place behind 2nd place Westview and the Champions Dekalb on Friday at Westviews Invitational. Makenna Behnfeldt won the High Jump with a jump of 4'11." Makenna is still proving herself as one of the areas top High Jumpers. Abby Hostetler won the 3200m run and Anna Aldrich was a double winner in the 1600 and 800m run. It was a great effort by all the ladies to wrap up the regular season. It has been an exciting season for the ladies this year as they have won 2 Invitationals (Hamilton & Adams Central). The highlight of the night might not have been on the track but the awesome Hokey Pokey moves by the lady athletes. Come check out both track teams in action this Tuesday and Friday at the NECC Championships held at Churubusco.
